A-VarioBell analogue doorphone intercom

The Alphatech VarioBell is a family of analog, GSM and IP doorphone intercoms.

A-VarioBell firmware:
First of all, install new VarioBellset program for Windows PC - for firmware V3.4 and higher
V3.6 - 14.02.2018, correction of mode 3+4, which did not hang up. Make sure to use the latest version of VarioBellset program for Windows PC
V3.4 - 7.2.2017, a new feature. When you set the keypad to "dialling from memory", you can dial numbers stored in memories 1-10 just with single digits 1-0
(previously you had to dial two digits 01, 02, etc. Now you can dial either 01, 02, 03 or also 1, 2, 3, and so on).
Step-by-step FW upgrade process:
For a FW upgrade you need to use A-VarioBell pc programming software, USB driver, 212124 PC USB programming cable - see links above
1. Disconnect the A-VarioBell doorphone from the analog line
2. Connect the 212124 PC USB programming cable to A-VarioBell and your PC
2. Download, unzipp and install A-VarioBell pc programming software (VarioBellset program for Windows PC) and USB driver to your PC - see links above
3. Start the "VarioBell setup" program
4. In the menu Option - Firmware upgrade - choose the file with FW (an unzipped file *.HEX)
6. Connect the analog line to the A-VarioBell doorphone
7. Start the FW upgrade
8. In about 10 minutes the FW upgrade is finished. You must see a message "upgrade is successful" and hear the reset system audio tone as a confirmation.
9. In case any error happens during the FW upgrade, disconnect the doorphone from the line, restart the VarioBell setup program and repeat steps 4.-8.
